Effective from: September 7, 2026

These terms of delivery and contract apply to orders placed through the Liljart online store.

2. Products

Liljart sells handmade jewellery. As the jewellery is handmade, individual products may have minor natural variations and variations resulting from the handmade production process. For example, the appearance of a product may differ slightly from the images shown.

Some of the materials used in the jewellery are natural materials, such as natural stones. Natural stones may naturally vary in colour, shade, pattern, translucency, size and shape. These variations are characteristics of natural materials and do not, as a rule, mean that the product is defective.

Product images are intended to represent the products as accurately as possible. However, display settings and lighting may affect how colours appear on different devices. The essential characteristics and materials of each product are stated in the product information.

3. Prices

Product prices are stated in euros in the online store.

The applicable price of a product is the price displayed in the online store at the time the order is placed.

Any delivery charges are stated separately before the order is confirmed. Liljart is not registered for VAT.

We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing and information errors. If a clearly incorrect price has been displayed for a product in the online store (for example, €0) and the customer understood or should have understood that the price was an error, the order is not considered binding with regard to the incorrect price.

4. Ordering

The customer can place an order in the online store by adding the desired products to the shopping cart and completing the ordering process.

Before confirming the order, the customer can see the contents of the order, the price and any delivery charges.

The order becomes binding when the customer submits the order through the online store.

An order confirmation will be sent to the customer by email after the order has been received.

If the order confirmation does not arrive for any reason, the customer should contact customer service at info.liljart@gmail.com.

5. Payment

The payment methods available in the online store are displayed at checkout.

Fees may be charged for the use of payment services in accordance with the terms of the relevant service provider, provided that the customer is informed of such fees before placing the order.

6. Delivery

We deliver orders to Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden.

The available delivery methods and shipping costs are shown in the online store before you confirm your order.

As a general rule, we ship orders as Posti’s small parcel. However, the parcel size may change if the ordered products do not fit in a small parcel. This will not result in any additional cost to the customer.

PRICES (updated 16 September 2026)

Posti small parcel (XXS) to Finland €7.90

Posti small parcel (XXS) to the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) €10.90

Posti small parcel (S) to Sweden €21.90

Free delivery is offered at checkout for orders over €150.

We aim to ship orders within 2 business days of receiving the order.

The estimated delivery time depends on the selected delivery method and will be provided with the order whenever possible.

Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery time has been expressly agreed.

If there is a significant delay in the delivery of an order, we will contact the customer whenever possible.

7. Receiving the Delivery

The customer is advised to inspect the package and product as soon as possible after receiving them.

If the package or product has been damaged during transport, please contact us as soon as possible at info.liljart@gmail.com and attach photographs of the damaged package and product.

The consumer's statutory rights in the event of a defect are not limited by the fact that the damage was not reported immediately.

8. Cancelling an Order Before Delivery

If the customer wishes to cancel an order as soon as possible after placing it, they may notify us by email at info.liljart@gmail.com.

We will make reasonable efforts to stop the order before it is dispatched.

If the order has already been dispatched, the customer must exercise the right of withdrawal described in Section 9.

This possibility does not limit the consumer's statutory right of withdrawal.

9. Statutory 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

The withdrawal period begins when the customer, or a person designated by the customer, receives the product.

The customer is not required to provide a reason for the withdrawal.

The customer must notify us clearly of the withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the product. The withdrawal notice may be submitted by email to:

info.liljart@gmail.com

Simply returning the product or failing to collect the package does not, by itself, constitute a withdrawal notice.

10. Returning the Product After Withdrawal

After notifying us of the withdrawal, the product must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice was submitted.

The return address will be provided to the customer when they contact us at info.liljart@gmail.com.

The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the product is defective or the online store has stated that we offer free returns.

We recommend using a return method that provides a tracking number or other proof of shipment.

11. Inspecting the Product and Its Condition Upon Return

The customer may examine the product in the same manner as would be permitted in a physical store.

If the product is handled or used beyond what is necessary to establish its characteristics, functionality and nature, the customer may be liable for any reduction in the value of the product.

In the case of jewellery, the product should be handled carefully during the withdrawal period.

If the jewellery is exposed, for example, to water, perfume, cosmetics, chemicals or other similar substances and this causes damage or a reduction in value, the customer may be liable for the reduction in value in accordance with the law.

12. Refunds

When the customer exercises their right of withdrawal, we will refund the payments made by the customer without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or until the customer has demonstrated that they have sent the product back.

We will generally issue the refund using the same payment method that the customer used for the original order.

We will also refund the original delivery costs as required by law. However, if the customer has selected a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery method available, we will not refund the difference between the more expensive delivery method and the least expensive standard delivery method.

13. Liability for Defects

Products are covered by statutory liability for defects under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. If a product has a defect as defined by law, the customer has the right to demand that the defect be remedied in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

A defect may, for example, exist if the product does not correspond to the information provided, is not suitable for its ordinary intended purpose, or has another defect as defined by law. The fact that a product is handmade or that natural materials have naturally occurring variations does not, in itself, mean that the product is defective, provided that these characteristics have been appropriately disclosed to the customer before purchase.

Statutory liability for defects cannot be restricted by these terms.

14. Complaints

If you believe that a product has a defect, please contact us as soon as possible:

info.liljart@gmail.com

Where possible, please include the following information in your message:

- Order number

- What is wrong with the product

- When you noticed the problem

- Photographs of the product, if they are helpful in assessing the matter

We will process the complaint and inform you how the matter will proceed. If the product is found to have a defect as defined by law, the customer must not incur any costs as a result of having the defect remedied.

15. Use and Care of Jewellery

The lifespan and appearance of jewellery depend, among other things, on the materials used, the amount of use, and how the jewellery is stored and cared for.

We recommend:

- removing the jewellery before showering, swimming and using a sauna

- avoiding exposing the jewellery to perfume, cosmetics and chemicals

- storing the jewellery in a dry place

- avoiding bending the jewellery excessively or subjecting it to other unnecessary stress

Natural stones may be susceptible to scratches, impacts or other damage depending on the material.

Jewellery should be used for its intended purpose.

Failure to follow the care instructions does not, however, limit the consumer's statutory rights where the product has a defect as defined by law.

16. Allergies and Materials

The essential materials used in each piece of jewellery are stated in the product information.

If the customer has a known allergy or hypersensitivity to a particular material, the customer should check the product information before ordering and, if necessary, contact us before making the purchase.

No nickel is used in the products.

17. Product Safety

Jewellery is intended to be used for its stated purpose.

Jewellery containing small parts is not suitable for small children. Jewellery must be kept out of the reach of small children, as it may pose, for example, a choking or strangulation hazard.

If a particular product is subject to specific safety instructions or restrictions, these will be stated together with the product.

18. Processing of Personal Data

We process customers' personal data for the purposes of processing orders, delivery, payment, customer service and other purposes related to the operation of the online store, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Further information about the processing of personal data is provided in a separate Privacy Policy.

PRIVACY POLICY

Information about cookies and similar technologies used in the online store is provided in a separate Cookie Policy.

19. Intellectual Property Rights

The content of the online store, including images, texts, graphics, logos and other materials, is the property of Liljart or its partners unless otherwise stated. The materials may not be copied, published, modified or used commercially without the permission of the rights holder.

20. Liability and Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or damage caused by an exceptional and unforeseeable obstacle that we could not reasonably have influenced and whose consequences we could not reasonably have avoided. This provision does not limit the consumer's statutory rights.

21. Disputes

We aim to resolve any potential issues primarily by communicating directly with the customer.

If the customer is a consumer and the matter cannot be resolved through negotiation, the consumer may contact the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and, if necessary, refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.

Finnish law applies to the contracts. This does not limit the rights to which the consumer is entitled under mandatory consumer protection legislation.

22. Amendments to the Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms of delivery and contract, for example due to changes in legislation, the operation of the online store or the services provided. The terms that were in force at the time the order was placed shall apply to that order.
