These return and cancellation terms apply to orders placed through the Liljart online store.

1. Statutory 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

The withdrawal period begins when the customer, or a person designated by the customer, receives the product.

The customer is not required to provide a reason for exercising the right of withdrawal.

The customer must notify us of the withdrawal unambiguously within 14 days of receiving the product.

Simply returning the product or failing to collect the package does not, on its own, constitute notice of withdrawal.

2. Returning The Product After Withdrawal

After the customer has notified us of the withdrawal, the product must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the notice of withdrawal was submitted.

The return address will be provided to the customer when they contact us at info.liljart@gmail.com.

The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the product is defective or the online store has stated that we offer free returns.

We recommend using a return method that provides a tracking number or other proof of shipment.

3. Inspecting The Product and its Condition Upon Return

The customer has the right to inspect and examine the product in the same way as they would be allowed to do in a physical store.

If the product is handled or used beyond what is necessary to establish its characteristics, functionality, and nature, the customer may be liable for any reduction in the product's value.

In the case of jewellery, the product should be handled with care during the withdrawal period.

If jewellery is used, for example, in contact with water, perfume, cosmetics, chemicals, or other similar substances, and this causes damage to the product or reduces its value, the customer may be liable for the reduction in value in accordance with applicable law.

4. Refunds

When the customer exercises their right of withdrawal, we will refund the payments made by the customer without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or until the customer has provided evidence that the product has been sent back.

As a general rule, we will issue the refund using the same payment method that the customer used for the original order.

We will also refund the original delivery costs as required by law. However, if the customer has chosen a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery option available, we will not refund the difference between the more expensive delivery method and the least expensive standard delivery method.
